Hi there! After a two week break I’m back to share a Christmas card with trees for Day 5 of the MFT September Release Countdown.
I started by die cutting the Winter Trees Die-namics out of Smooth White Card Stock. Next, I adhered them to a piece of Eiffel Tower Card Stock and die cut it with the second largest die from the A2 Stitched Rectangle STAX Set 1 Die-namics.
After that I used one of the dies from the Grassy Terrain Die-namics to cut a strip of grass out of Blue Beyond Card Stock. I then adhered all of my elements onto a panel of Silver Shine Card Stock and went to work on the card base.
The Touch of Texture Background stamped with Cornflower Premium Dye Ink on Something Blue Card Stock added some interest to a quite simple card.
Next, I went to work on the sweet squirrel from the SY Christmas Tree Farm, stamped with Extreme Black Hybrid Ink, and die cut with the SY Christmas Tree Farm Die-namics. I used the following Copic markers for the coloring: R39, R35, G99, G94, E47, E35, YR27, YR24, W1 and W00. My sentiment is also from the same set. I heat embossed it in white on a piece of Amarena Cherry Card Stock and die cut it with one of the dies from the Skinny Strips Die-namics.
