Hello again! It’s time for my monthly interactive card tutorial at the MFT Stamps YouTube channel. I created a sweet rainbow slider card that I hope you will enjoy.

The design is very clean and simple… The smiling cloud, from the Straight Up Rainbow Die-namics, which is the main feature of the card, is sending love to those cute pandas, from the Panda Pals stamp set.

When we pull on the cloud, prompted by the little word from the Interactive Labels stamp set, a vertical rainbow is revealed. The almost monochromatic card turns into a colorful ordeal. Here’s an animated gif of the rainbow slider in action:
As you will find out in the tutorial, I used a very simple DIY mechanism, that I hadn’t used before, for this card. I also made my own dimensional tape with card stock and double sided tape, since I ran out of foam tape.

For the rainbow, I used the following colors of heavyweight MFT cardstock:
To color the cute pandas, I used Copic markers W3, W1 + W00 for the bodies and R01 + R00 for the cheeks. I also added a little bit of a shadow underneath them with BG000.

As a last touch, I added some tiny raindrops cut with the Rainy Circle Die-namics out of brushed silver cardstock (backed with Stick-It adhesive), as well as a pink enamel heart. By the way, the sentiment is from the BB Rain or Shine stamp set.

Lastly, here are the measurements of the card:
- Rainbow pulltab: 1 7/8″ x 4 1/2″ (4,8cm x 11,4cm)
- Main panel: 4 1/4″ x 6″ (15,2cm x 10,8cm)
- Cardbase: 9″ x 6 1/4″ (22,9cm x 15,9cm)
Thank you for stopping by! See you soon! ^_^
