Tarjeta CAS con cupcakes para el reto WSC519 de MFT.

¡Hola de nuevo! Estoy de vuelta con una tarjeta CAS con cupcakes para el reto Sketch Challenge (WSC519) de @mftstamps de esta semana.

The sketch is very simple… a triangle with a fishtail sentiment banner across the middle.

I thought it would be fun to stack sentiments or critters to create a pyramid… two stamp sets that would have worked great, came to mind; All the Encouragement and Winter Songbird. Finally, I chose to use All the Cupcakes because they are so fun to color.

I used some Extreme Black Hybrid Ink to stamp the cupcakes and masking paper to stack them. After the pyramic was done, I went to work on my coloring… As always, I used a combination of Copic markers and Prismacolor pencils.

I also added details with a white gel pen, Glossy Accents and «Bright Gold» Nuvo Drops to make my colorful cupcakes look almost edible.

To add the sentiment, I went with a banner cut with the smaller die from the Essential Stitched Sentiment Strips Die-namics out of Heavyweight Translucent Vellum. I heat embossed one of the sentiments from the BB Birthday Buds in gold, on it.

The card wa’s difficult to photograph in such a way that you can see the shine of the embossing, which in real life looks very pretty… As a last touch, I added some matching enamel stars and a heart.

I hope my clean and simple card has inspired you to participate in Sketch Challenge (WSC519). You could win a $50 gift voucher to the MFT Boutique!  I Can’t wait to see what my teammates created, at the MFT Blog! Byeeee!
