Hace ya más de seis meses que participé por primera vez en un reto de 3flowers con ESTA tarjeta. Hoy es la decimosexta vez (contando los cuatro no-retos navideños) y el reto número 50 de las florecillas…¡enhorabuena chicas!

Aproveché para hacer una tarjeta unisex o con aires masculinos para poder regalársela a Iván, el profe de mi hijo.
I also wanted to give a unisex or masculine feel to the card in able to give it to Ivan, my son’s teacher.
La idea se me ocurrió porque el fondo, con los marcos estampados con tinta de pigmento blanca, me recordaba a una pizarra. Para resaltar más esta característica, entinté ligeramente el borde y el óvalo con la palabra «gracias», con la misma tinta.
I got the idea because the background with the white pigment ink stamped frames, reminded me of a blackboard. In order to emphasize this , I slightly inked the border and the oval with the word «gracias» (thank you) with the same ink.
El bigote es una maderita entintada con tinta Distress «Gathered twigs»… también la he usado para entintar el borde del papel estampado. Los mini brads en forma de tornillo son de Tim Holtz idea-ology y le dan un toque muy chulo a la tarjeta.
The moustache is a wood veneer that I inked with «Gathered twigs» Distress ink… I’ve also used it to ink the border of the patterned paper. The mini screw brads are from Tim Holtz idea-ology and they give a nice touch to the card.
El cuadro con la manzana es un elemento (muy de profesor) que copié directamente de mi layout, aunque en ese caso se trataba de un corazón cubierto de Glossy Accents… Corté la forma de la manzana a mano de un trozo de cartulina roja y el resto de elementos con troqueles de la colección «Fresh cut flowers» de Die-namics.
The frame with the apple is a very teacher-like element that I copied directly from my layout, although in that case it was a die-cut heart covered with Glossy Accents… I hand cut the apple shape and used die-cuts from the Die-namics «Fresh cut flowers» set for the rest of the elements.
Estampé la palabra «gracias» con un sello parcialmente enmascarado de «Con sal y pimienta». Los polvos de embossing que usé son de la marca Ranger en un tono llamado «Liquid platinum», una especie de plateado cálido que me encanta…
I stamped the word «gracias» with a partially masked stamp from «Con sal y pimienta». The embossing powder is Ranger’s «Liquid platinum», a warm silver tone that I love…
