The artist is actually the nurse from the Call the Shots stamp set that I partially stamped to get rid of some of the tell tale details. I used my MISTI and stamped her on some printer paper. Next I cut ot the parts that I wanted to transfer to my cardstock and stamped her for a second time with the mask covering the things that I didn’t want, in place.
I then used the Mirror Image to stamp just her hand. I drew a simple little brush, colored and fussy cut the whole thing. For the paint splatter on her clothes, I just stamped some of the images of the Distressed Patterns stamp set with MFT Premium Dye Ink.
By the way, if you’re interested, HERE you can see an interactive card in which I transformed a crazy scientist into a crazy artist…
The large Abstract Doodle stamp looks great with those colorful stains overlapping the design. I used Wild Cherry, Lemon Drop and Blu Raspberry Premium Dye inks to stamp them. For the sentiment I heat embossed a phrase from the Hop, Flip and a Jump stamp set on a banner cut with one of the dies from the Essential Slanted Sentiment Strips Die-namics.
That’s all for today… I can’t wait to see what my talented teammates and MFT guests created! Happy shopping and have a great day! 😉
