It’s time for the MFT November Release Countdown Kickoff! I’ve made a slimline card with a fun snowball fight, featuring the cute kids from the BB Pile on the Hugs stamp set.

I started by stamping all of the images with Extreme Black Hybrid Ink on some Copic friendly card stock. Next I die cut them with the matching BB Pile on the Hugs Die-namics and colored them with Copic markers.

After that, I ink blended three backgrounds in different combinations of Distress Oxide Ink, but decided that the kids would look better against some white snow slopes. I die cut them out of Smooth White Card Stock, using first the Stitched Slimline Snow Drifts Die-namics and then the stitched rectangle from the Slimline Starter Die-namics.

Birde Brown’s images are always so expressive and fun to color! It absolutely looks like the kids are having a snowball fight! To give the illusion of perspective, I hid part of their bodies behind the snow slope.

The little snowball stamps can be used to create an interactive feature, like some of my Design Teammates have done. Be sure to be linked to their cards, from the MFT Blog.
Remember to leave a comment while you’re there and you could win one of the $75 gift vouchers to the MFT Boutique, drawn from the comments of each countdown post. Thanks for stopping by and do come back tomorrow! ^_^
