Hi there! It’s time to kick off the MFT March Release Countdown! I’m sharing a cute card with shopping bags that I created for my niece Sandra.
I started by adhering a piece of patterned paper from the Colorful Canvas Paper Pad to a piece of Cotton Candy Card Stock. Next, I used the largest die from the Money Card Die-namics and the new Universal Money Loops Die-namics to cut my panel. It’s such a fun and easy way to include some cash! You just fold the loops upwards and insert a rolled bill.
The sentiment, which I heat embossed in platinum is from the Spending Spree stamp set. I also stamped the phrase “Happy Birthday, Gorgeous” from the same set, inside.
Before decorating my panel I adhered it to a card base of Smooth White Card Stock. I then cut a bunch of shopping bags with the Always in Fashion Die-namics out of the following colors of card stock/paper pads:
- Ripe Raspberry
- Summer Splash
- Caribbean Sea
- Kraft
- Smooth White
- Poppin’ Polka Dots
- MSTN Pretty in Plaid
It was fun to assemble and adhere them to my card. I thought about adding some matching enamel dots but actually forgot about it.
