CAS rainbow card for WSC508

CAS rainbow card for WSC508.

Hiya! It’s time for a new Weekly Sketch Challenge (WSC508) at the MFT Blog. I followed the sketch very closely and made a CAS rainbow card for my soon-to-be 13 year old daughter. She looooves rainbows and unicorns!

The only thing that I did differently was to substitute the smaller circle for the beautiful girl from the BB Unicorns and Glitter stamp set, which I colored with Copic markers. I also added a little vellum banner with a heat embossed sentiment from the Bitty Birthday Wishes on top of her.

For the larger circle, I chose to diecut two rainbows, using the Magical Rainbow Die-namics, which was almost the perfect size. You can see all of the different card stocks that I used, in the gallery at the end of this post. This time I substituted my belowed Red Hot Card Stock (my go to rainbow red), for Poppy Prestige Card Stock. The joint of the two rainbows is of course hidden behind the sentiment banner…

I toyed with the idea of using sequins to add some bling to my CAS rainbow card, but decided to go with a couple of glitter enamel stars instead. As always, I also applied drops of Glossy Accents to the the girl’s eyes and some shimmer to her unicorn horn.
