Card with marching band and rainbow

Hello there! It’s time to kick off the MFT December Card Kit Release Countdown. I’ve created a card with a marching band and a rainbow, die cut with the new Color Blast Die-namics.

This die is perfect to add interest to any A2 background or to to use as the main feature and you don’t necessarily have to die cut it out of rainbow colored card stock.  Speaking of card stock, before I tell you more about my card, let’s see everything that’s included in the Wild About Rainbows Card Kit:

For my rainbow, I went with the following combo: Red Hot, Orange Zest, Lemon Drop, Sour Apple, Summer Splash and Grape Jelly. I also die cut the rainbow out of Smooth White Card Stock so that I could inlay it. Once I was done with that part, I used the largest die from the A2 Stitched Rectangle STAX Set 1 Die-namics to die cut my panel.

I thought it would be fun to place my rainbow horizontally and have some critters walking on it… The bunnies from the BB Strike Up the Band were perfect for this! I stamped them with Extreme Black Hybrid Ink on Copic friendly card stock, die cut them with matching dies and colored them with the following markers; B97, B95, B93, B91, YR27, YR24, YR21, R01, W3, W1, W00, C4, C2 and C00.

To embellish my card, I stamped some notes on it and added Glossy Accents to them. I also added some matching enamel hearts, beacuse this marching band is playing some really sweet and loving music.
