Howdy! It’s time for a new Color Challenge (CC164) at the MFT Blog. I created a colorful Birthday card with the cute gorilla from the BB Picture Perfect Party Animals.

The color palette for CC164 is so bright and beautiful! Check it out below!

At first I thought of creating a card with flowers, but after going through my stash I was inspired to create a colorful Birthday card instead. I started by die cutting one of the sheets from the Poppin’ Polka Dots Paper Pad with the largest die from the A2 Stitched Rectangle STAX Set 1 Die-namics. Next, I adhered the panel to my A2 card base of Smooth White Card Stock.

After that I stamped the image of the gorilla on a piece of Copic friendly card stock and colored it with the following markers:
- Gorilla: E59, E55, E53, E51, E37, E35, E31
- Birthday hat: RV09, RV06, RV04
- Background: BG18, BG15, BG13
- Garland: R22, R20, BG02, BG01, Y17, Y15

Before adhering the frame to my cardbase, I glued a bunch of leaves die cut with the Grand Greenery dies to the back of it. As a last touch, I added four white enamel dots. Head on to the MFT Blog for more inspiration! If you like colorful cards, check THESE out, before you go. Thanks for stopping by! ^_^
