Hi there! I’m back to share a card with sweet birds that I made to inspire you to participate in Wednesday Sketch Challenge (WSC546) at the MFT Blog.

This week’s sketch is very symmetrical and easy to get inspired by… It’s square and features six circles, which you of course can substitute for flowers, critters, cupcakes or whatever you prefer.

I started by cutting a 10″ x 5″ card base of Smooth White Card Stock. Then I folded it in half and stamped the Thick and Thin Background on it with Kraft Premium Dye Ink.

Next, I used the second smallest die from the A2 Circle STAX Die-namics to die cut twelve 1 1/2″ circles out of Smooth White Card Stock. I stacked them, adhered them to the card base and went to work on the sweet birds…

They’re from the Spring Songbird and Tweet Memories stamp sets. I stamped them with Extreme Black Hybrid Ink on Copic friendly card stock, die cut them with the matching dies and colored them with Copic markers.

So that they would stand out a little bit more, I adhered them to the circles with thin foam squares. The last step was to heat emboss one of the sentiments from the Spring Songbird set on a kraft banner, die cut with the Stitched Fishtail Sentiment Strips Die-namics.

That’s it from me for today! I hope my card has inspired you to join in the fun and participate in WSC546. You could be the lucky winner of a $50 gift voucher to the MFT Boutique!
