Yay, today I’m celebrating the MFT October Release with a colorful geometric Christmas card. I created it with the versatile MSTN Cool Christmas Trees Die-namics.
I started by die cutting the elements out of the following colors of MFT card stock (backed with Stick-It adhesive): Gold Shine, Caribbean Sea, Red Hot and Kraft. Then I played around with the placement and adhered them to a piece of Smooth White Card Stock.
Next, I used the largest die from the A2 Stitched Rectangle STAX Set 1 Die-namics to die cut my panel. I adhered it to an A2 card base of the same white card stock and went to work on the sentiment banner.
First, I heat embossed the sentiment from the Mod & Merry stamp set on a piece of Black Licorice Card Stock. Then I cut it with one of the dies from the Skinny Strips Die-namics. Finally, I adhered it to my geometric Christmas card with black foam adhesive. I didn’t think it needed any embellishments, but in hindsight it would have looked cool to add volume to some of the shapes…
