Hello again! I’m back with a fun “Aloha” card featuring a bunch of different products from the July Release. I hadn’t yet had the chance to play with the new Impact Alphabet Die-namics and was dying to use them.

If you’ve been following me for a while, you’ll know that I absolutely love alphabet dies! So much so, that I have a separate category for “typographic cards”… I also love making wall art with inspirational quotes.

For this card, I started by die cutting four sets of letters in Kraft Card Stock, which I then layered with liquid glue. Next, I diecut the longest banner from the Skinny Strips Die-namics in Black Licorice Card Stock.

I embossed the longest sentiment from the Bitty Birthday Wishes in white and adhered it to my cardbase. Then I aligned the letters using it as a guide. So that my Aloha wouldn’t look too serious, I slightly tilted the “O” and perched the toucan from the Sunshine and Friendship stamp set on top of it. He needed a friend, so I grabbed the parrot from the Drink up the Sunshine stamp set and put it on top of the first “A”.

Now the last “A” looked lonely, so I added the yummy coconut drink on top of it. To finish the card, I also added some flowers and leaves from the before-mentioned sets.
OK, now head on to the MFT Blog for more inspiration or to the MFT Store for some good old shopping! Have a great day!
