Two cards with chemistry for January Vault Release

Card created with Chemistry Set Die-namics for MFT.

Hello again! Today I’m sharing a couple of colorful cards, created with Laina Lamb’s Chemistry Set Die-namics, for the MFT January Vault Release.

I missed out on this set years ago, when it was released, so I’m really happy that it was brought back.  It has a lot of different flasks, test tubes and accessories that are so much fun to play with.

For the first card, I die cut a bunch of the hearts, atoms and particles in five different colors of card stock (backed with Stick-It adhesive) and adhered them to a standard A2 cardbase.

I stamped the sentiment from the Undeniable Chemistry set in Summer Splash Premium Dye Ink, on a strip diecut with one of the banners from the Skinny Strips Die-namics. Then I embossed it with clear embossing powder.

Lastly, I added some matching enamel dots for extra dimension and that’s it. The second card is a chemistry themed clean and simple shaker.

I started by diecutting a panel with the largest die from the A2 Stitched Rectangle STAX Set 1 Die-namics and four of the before mentioned chemistry flasks.

Then I used only one layer of foam tape and a piece of thin acetate, to create the shaker window, which I filled with colorful micro beads. They are very sensitive to the static electricity and move almost like a bubbling liquid at times.

I stamped the sentiment from the LLD Undeniable Chemistry set with Extreme Black Hybrid Ink and added some drops of Glossy Accents, to finish the card.

That’s it from today. Head on to the MFT Blog for more inspiration from the rest of the team or to the MFT Boutique for some Vault Release shopping!
