Flower fairy card for Day 2

Sweet flower fairy card for Day 2 of the MFT March Release Countdown.

Hi! There are only a couple of days left until the March release goes live and I want to share with you a sweet and simple flower fairy card, that I created with a bunch of the new products.

Day 2

First, I diecut a panel of Copic friendly card stock, with one of the dies from the A2 Stitched Rectangle STAX Set 1 Die-namics. Then I stamped one of the fairies from the adorable Flower Fairies stamp set on it and colored her with the following markers:

  • Hair: E37, E35, E33, E31
  • Skin: E21, E11, E00, R01
  • Dress, heart and shoes: R22, R20, C2, C00
  • Wings: BG01, Bg000
  • Flower: C2, C00, R22, R20

To complete her, I added drops of Glossy Accents to the heart and flower center and drew some glitter dots with an Atyo Spica pen on the dress and wings.

Next, I partially stamped one of the sentiments from the same set in Extreme Black Hybrid Ink and added two layers of the “smile” sentiment (from the Framed Die-namics), die cut out of Coral Crush Card Stock, above it.

I glued a piece of patterned paper from the Spring Whimsy Paper Pack to a top fold A2 cardbase and adhered the panel to the center, with a same sized sheet of white fun foam.

I thought of adding a rain of glitter (or fairy dust) to the card, but didn’t want to mess up anything in the last moment, so I left it clean and simple. Thank you so much for stopping by.
