Hi there! For this week’s Sketch Challenge (WSC477), at the MFT Blog, I created a clean and simple card featuring the funny sheep from the BB Birthday Buds stamp set.
I immediately knew that I wanted to use the cute frame from the Trendy Tag Die-namics, for the central vertical element and I die cut it both in Kraft as in matte gold card stock. I used the partial die cutting technique, to lengthen it. However, I wasn’t so sure about the two horizontal ones…

Finally, I had the idea of using the inside pieces of the Cute Cloud Outlines Die-namics, die cut out of Smooth White Card Stock and it of course made sense to place them in a blue sky. Then it was just a question of choosing the main character…

I went with the sheep, who has always dreamt of flying… If it wasn’t for the red balloon, it would be perfectly camouflaged between the clouds, LOL.

The sentiment, from the Anything but Basic Encouragement set, was stamped directly onto the 4″ x 10 1/4″ Berrylicious blue card base in Extreme Black Hybrid Ink, before assembling the whole thing.

By the way, HERE‘s another recent card featuring Birdie Brown’s adorable sheep, that you might have missed.
Thank you for stopping by and have a great day! ^_^
