The MFT October Release Countdown continues and today I’m sharing an elegant CAS card featuring a cute bear from the Partners in Adventure stamp set.

I started by heat embossing the background stamp on a piece of Smooth White Card Stock, with platinum embossing powder. After that, I used the Framed Greetings Cover-Up, which will be featured on Monday, to die cut the embossed panel.

I also die cut it in regular Smooth White Card Stock, so that I could stack all of the inside pieces.

Next, I used the die cut as a template to adhere all of the inside pieces to an A2 top fold cardbase. It looked very nice, like a fancy wedding invitation and I wasn’t sure if adding a critter would be the right way to go.

However, I took a chance and stamped both the cute bear with the balloons and the sentiment from the Partners in Adventure stamp set, with Extreme Black Hybrid Ink, directly onto my elegant CAS card base. Here’s the list of Copic markers that I used for the coloring: E35, E33, E31, R24, R22, R20, R00, BG15, BG13, BG11, C00 and W10.

As always, I added Glossy Accents to the bear’s eyes and nose. To draw attention to the sentiment, I added a little coral colored enamel heart next to it. That’s all for today. I hope you check out what my teammates created for Day 4 of the MFT October Release Countdown.
