Card with elephant skin texture

Hi there! I’m back after a long break to share a card with some nice elephant skin texture for Day 5 of the MFT August Release Countdown.

I started by stamping the gorgeous Leaf Skeleton Background with Cement Gray Premium Dye Ink on an A2 card base of Gravel Gray Prestige Card Stock. It reminded me of elephant skin so I of course chose said animal from the SY Sweetest Safari Set 1 as the main feature of my card.

I stamped it and the sentiment with Extreme Black Hybrid Ink on a panel of Copid friendly card stock, die cut with the third largest die from the Stitched Mod Rectangle STAX Die-namics.

Next, I colored it with the following markers: C5, C4, C3, C2, C00 and R00. I also used a pencil to create some texture.

As a last touch, I added three pink enamel hearts. They make the Stacey Yakula’s elephant even sweeter, don’t they?
