Three swinging cards tutorial for MFT

Three cards using the Interactive Swing Die-namics by Laura Dovalo.

Hello! It’s time for my monthly video tutorial for MFT and I’ve prepared three cards using dies from the new Interactive Swing Die-namics set, in a unique way.

Sweet unicorn card using Interactive Swing Die-namics.

The first card features stamps from the Rainbows and Unicorns set on a very soft background, that I inked with Worn Lipstick and Broken China Distress Oxide ink. When you move it, the unicorn and ferry rock back and forth. It’s essentially a pendulum card for which I used the long die with a ring on one end.

I diecut it twice out of acetate and layered the ring part. Then I glued one of the Spin & Slide Discs to the middle of my panel and inserted the ring, covering it with two clouds from the Once Upon a Rainbow Die-namics set. Next, I glued a penny to the back of the fairy and attached it to one end of the acetate strip. To adhere the unicorn, I only used a strip of foam tape.

The second card features the same idea, but this time I left the mechanism in plain sight, turning it into a seesaw with the triangular die from the Interactive Swing Die-namics set. The fun cat (tiger?) and dog from the Cute Critters set, sit on opposite sites balancing each other.

I wanted to add the sentiment “We balance each other”, but it didn’t fit on my panel, so I shortened it to “We’re in balance” using letters from the Stitched Banner Alphabet Die-namics, that I die cut out of white cardstock, backed with a piece of Stick-It double sided adhesive sheet.

The third card is totally different to the first two. It’s a slider card with multiple elements that I made with two of the dies from the Interactive Swing Die-namics set. When the sliding panel is pulled, the owls from the Forever & Owlways stamp set and the snail from the You Gnome Me set come out from their hiding places in the tree top.

You can see how I made these cards in the video below or at the MFT Stamps Youtube channel. Have a nice day! ^_^
