CAS card with no-line coloring

CAS card with no-line coloring for MFT February Card Kit Release.

Time flies when you’re having fun and I’m back to share a CAS card with no-line coloring, to celebrate the Release of the MFT February Card Kit!

I’m not an expert at this technique, but there are some absolutely wonderful colorists on the MFT DT who inspire me to get better, so here I am giving it a go.

I started by carefully planning my card… The balloon, from the Balloon Bouquet stamp set, as well as the box are totally centered. However I stamped the panda, from the Weather with You set, slightly offset.

I used Kraft Premium Dye Ink for all of the stamping, so that I could easily hide the lines. Then I colored the images with Prismacolor pencils. I also used a black multiliner pen for the balloon string and a white gel pen to get some parts extra white.

It was so much fun to color the fuzzy panda, but I think I could have added more gray hairs since you can see too much of the kraft paper shining through. However, I do love how realistic the brown eyes look.

I forgot to mention that the box is our newest Free with $60 product. I die cut it out of Caribbean Sea Prestige and Tropical Teal Prestige card stock and added some polka dots and shading, so that it wouldn’t stand out too much.

Head on to the MFT Blog for more projects from the DT and get your Weather with You Card Kit while you can! Have a great day and thank you for stopping by!
